I love this...  I've taken a few woman studies classes and I always get crap for being a 'feminist' when all I am is a person who believes in equality.

Thanks Safire....will definitely check out the website.  women are awesome ...smart and beautiful!  We are equal to men.  It is the delicate balance of nature.  I don't watch TV, one reason is b/c women are constantly portrayed as sex symbols!  the media is the #1 tool for our government to control us!  It's disgusting how some days the top headline news for CNN is about stars, "reality shows", or politicians sex life!  I agree with Katie that media can be a positive thing, but ultimately the network executives are in control of what is broadcasted!
