I tried searching the forums and really only found one opinion on them. (And there is no reviews in the review section, either)
Does anyone own a mood hoop? Do you like it? Pros and cons? Thank you! And sorry if this has been posted before. I couldn't find anything on it. If you know where there is a discussion similar, shoot me the link. Thanks.

Permalink Reply by Gillian Tunney on June 23, 2011 at 10:01am Question: Does anyone know what kind of a battery is used in the 33" mood hoops? are they digital camera batteries, it does not say the size on the website? A triple-a rechargable didnt work. I need to get one , am wondering if a place like radio shack might carry them, i dont really want to wait/pay for shipment from the company for just a battery.
i got the 33 in lotus, its amazing! super bright, really light and fast.
my issues are: I have had it for a week, and i guess it was in off mode and the button wasnt locked or something, and someone hooped with it in the off position and it poped apart and the battery flew out never to be found. First time a drunk guy did it, and i was annoyed. Then i did the same damn thing myself and lost the second battery 2 days later. This is not the hoops fault, i just need to check that it is locked.
the tubing is really tiny on the 33" - the outer diameter is 1/2in". I have no problem with it , but some might find it heavy. Like my other cosmic hoop, you can't do alot of crazy breaking /reversing, the tubing kind of bows. i think this probably comes with the territory of having electronics inside.
Permalink Reply by Brittany Crystal on January 2, 2012 at 9:15pm i just got a lotus for christmas from moodhoops.com and am in love beautiful vibrant leds lightweight and durable i would recommend!
I just received my new Polypro LED from mood hoops. Its awesome. Her customer service is impecible, and she was very helpful with my custom LED design. The hoop is 5/8 and 36". Its bright, it's flexible, and evenly wieghted. Kinda wobbly, which she warned me of but I love it. Ive dropped it a couple of times, kinda hard and it's fine. Honestly can't put it down.

This happened to me once. It got stuck under the tubing and I was able to just pop it back in place. Can you see it inside the tube?

i have the 38'' blaze and i love it :) only problem is that it is a little slippery, which i plan on fixing by wrapping it in clear micropore tape.
I have purchased leds from Trick Concepts, LED Heady Hoops, & Mood Hoops. Mood Hoops is by far the best of these three options. They have affordable prices, very good quality, nice and bright, and very quick shipping and great customer service. I have 36" medium size in the Prism, Rainbow, and Muse. I personally highly recommend Mood Hoops!
Permalink Reply by Kayla Davis on March 4, 2012 at 11:15am i own 2 mood hoops... i love them. i have had one for a year now and still works like i just got it yesterday. also on one of my hoops the led kept coming on and off, but they have fast and friendly service to help you fix your hoops. i refer everyone who is looking at a hoop to get a mood hoop.

just wanted to say that the new neon hoop is SIIICK. i want one!

I'm selling a brand new one because I don't like it. The tubing is too slim and flimsy for my preferance. I sanded the hoop because it was too hard to grip. Unfortunately that means I cannot return it:(
They have good customer service but I am not a fan of the actual hoops:(
