New to hooping! intoducing yourself :)

heey everybody! i'm new to hooping, i've only been doing it about two days (super new..) anyways, i watched safires tutorials and they brought me here eventually and its a really well put together site. :) ! i'm looking forward to posting on here.

so far, i can get the hoop up to my neck (the shimmy) and i can put my arms through my hoop while it's up there.. although sometimes it hits my neck in an off way and it huurts.. i can't hoop simply around my chest with my arms up through it, i've got to get a more fluid motion going on there.. anyways, i can't wait to make it happen.

there was no general introductions forum.. (i dont think) so i thought i'd start one here! introduce yourself if youre neww, or not new, haha :]

i'm kesey, ahha it's not my real name, it's my favorite authors but i use it on every site so.. yeah, so excited to get better and discuss with you guys!

Nice to meet you! :) Ive only been doing it about a week so were in the same boat, kate. :)

i can stick my hands in when the hoop is going around my waist, one hand is way harder, it actually seems to follow the hoop or that i have to like yank it out of the hoop cause i feel like the hoops going to hit it. anyone else experience this when youre putting your hands in and out of your hoop? (while its on your waist?)
