What the f??? I've never been and was SOOO looking forward to going this year! I don't want to go to Bonnaroo again, but I need a festival to go to over the summer. I am really sad now. Booooooo.

you should try making it to wakarusa in ozark, arkansas! www.wakarusa.com mulberry mountain is a magical place and the energy is great. i was gonna try to make it to rothbury too!! i'll have to save my hopes for 2011 :(

I've never been to Rothbury, but I am very sad for all the Rothburians. :(

One that I love (and hope to return to this year) is Summer Camp in Chillicothe, IL. It's over Memorial Day weekend and it's AWESOME. 1st place I saw hooping too. 3 nights of moe. & Umphrey's, Bassnectar & eoto are also playing...check it out: Summer Camp.

AH! I love that you still have your bracelet on! :) I hadn't heard that we weren't getting Rothbury this year .... so sad. The past two years have been so fun! I'm still crossing my fingers that Cheese will *officially* announce Hornings, although I'm not sure I'll have the $$$ for the travel.

Summercamp is really great and I heard Wanee has a good lineup but its early. or maybe all good? or just take a vacation this year! :) its a bummer, but its kinda cool that they're not gonna sell out or make it crappy. they definitely did a good thing announcing it that way, and very respectable decision. next year will just be that much better!

I was so very sad to find out this news...Rothbury is such a magical place, and I was super excited to return this year.

Alas, there's no use dwelling on what isn't happening -- time to look into what other new festivals I might check out this year! :)
