But have you asked for the product by product name, or just "tubing for hooping"? Most places are clueless about that.
Also you might try contacting some local irrigation specialists. They might even give you their leftovers!
What is the product number on mcmaster carr? I would really like to not order from Lowes because it is $50 for a roll of 160 psi tubing.
i want to know this too! did you ever figure it out?
You can get irrigation tubing at Lowes. 100ft rolls.
Yes, that's where I get mine, but not all Lowe's stores keep it in stock-- still I suspect you could order it there & at least not have to pay shipping.

The brand I buy there is Silverline Sil-O-Flex.
.... lowes.com even has the silverline lubing last time i checked if you're wanting it online
all the Lowes near me are tubing-impaired, I think. No tubing except for PEX (if I'm lucky). I'm in the southeast, about 3 hours from atlanta.
Here's the thread where I posted a supply list, including part numbers. Lowe's and Home Depot can find the tubing with part numbers.

If you can't read .docx scroll down. I also posted.doc
YES! Thank you, I saved this file on my computer. I am actually going over to home depot and lowes to see if them can order some stuff for me. Hopefully I won't get anymore clueless looks, since I am showing them Part numbers.
The Lowe's and Home Depots near me don't have it either. However, every True Value hardware store supplies it. Usually they have it in stock but if not they can order it for no extra cost and have it delivered in a few days. Many small town hardware stores are True Value owned. That is the case I'm in. I couldn't find it at any big name store, but my small town local hardware store had it in stock and ready to go when I asked for 100 psi 3/4" poly tubing.

P.S - I've ordered online before as well. There is quite a shipping charge, however.
I think I know what is going on. Last week I was in Jacksonville Florida and making hoops for my daughter and her friends. I ran out of connectors and made a visit to the local Home Depot. I could not find the tubing I usually use...160, 100 PSI in either the 3/4 or 1/2 inch width. I was perplexed. I asked someone and she called the manager. I figured if I could find the tubing, the connectors would be with it.

They don't carry my tubing. They don't carry my connectors there in that Jacksonville store either.
Reason being? Housing regulations are different in Florida than in North Carolina. 160 PSI means 160 pounds of pressure per square inch to burst the pipes if they freeze, and in Florida they don't worry so much about freezing pipes.

They sold me 3/4 inch connectors that were very short and not like what I usually use, ( makes me wonder about the girl in the current post who cannot get her connectors in), and as it all turns out, these connectors are exactly the same size as the width of my tubing and I cannot get them inside it.

My fave tubing is made by Silverline, which is actually carried by Lowe's, not Home Depot, btw.
