Just heard Yoel Fink, a scientist on NPR's Science Friday make this statement, continuing: "the flow of blood, the flow of oxygen..."

I hadn't really made this connection consciously, though I've often thought of the links between rhythm, breathing & pulse.  No wonder the rhythmic flow of the hoop feels so right!!

By the way, Fink is designing "fibers that take photos, listen and transmit sound. He says a shirt may one day monitor your health by tracking body sounds."  Here's the link to the show, though the audio won't be available online until 6pm Eastern today.

Wow, I hadn't really thought about that either, but it's such a cool concept! We are meant to dance :]
I was talking to a girl at a party the other day as she had asked to have a go with my hoop, i was explining about dominant and non dominant currents, she responded off the bat by talking about our heartbeat/blood flow, which I thought was interesting...
Wow, yeah, the current corresponds too! Curiouser & curiouser!

All I know is that I've never had such a powerful feeling that I was doing what my entire being was meant to be doing-- it hit me as soon as I could keep the hoop going at all, & gets stronger by the day. You know how some people are addicts the moment they try a certain substance? That's me & the hoop.
