Hey there fellow hoopers,
So my boyfriend is a co founder to this great social network that is just getting started. Ever since I heard about the company all I can think is how great it would be for the hooping community. It already has quite a bit of followers from all walks of life and from all over.

The Network is called One World Connects. It is a network based on the idea of meeting people with the specific purpose of connecting and spreading positive vibes. You can buy a "Meridian" which is a really cool medallion type object inscribed with a word of your choosing and a serial number so that no two Meridians can be the same. With the Meridian, which can be worn as a necklace, you can sign up to be a member of the network. The idea is that you want to find other people with a Meridian to trade with. Every time you trade you log it into the network and can create a "legacy" for it.

Eventually the company wants to make it so that part of profits will go to a charity of your choosing.

I think this would be an amazing way for hoopers to connect with one another and if/when they trade their Meridians they could create a "legacy" centered around what hoopers are doing. This network needs the creative energy and spirit that us hoopers have. Also, because this is still a smaller network we can easily establish ourselves within it. Since I also know the brains behind the operation, I can also say that they love the idea of hoopers getting involved.
