Hey hoopers,

So, I'm getting my first LED hoop from my boyfriend for christmas... (smart guy I know :)   ) and he/ I have been researching hoops for the last like two months, and I am VERY interested in the phoenix hoop by hoop daddy.. this thing is NUTS.. its like a computer in a hoop with patterns you can change and too many settings to count... SO do I make him go for the way more expensive computer hoop... or get an awesome hoop from mood hoops, that is beautiful but not as crazy.. I'm just worried since the phoenix is so new it may not have all the kinks worked out... anybody have any input?...

Welllllll, I know Hoop Daddy and have tried his hoops, and all I have to say is they're freaking awesome. He's a top-notch hooper so the hoop itself is great, and he's also really nice and friendly and has amazing customer service, so if it does have any glitches, he'd fix it for you in no time. And the hoop does look super freaking trippy and awesome. If you want to save money though, mood hoops is also awesome! I have one and love it, although I feel like the tubing is too springy (I have the small one), so breaks and reversals can get messy.

awesommmeee! thanks, i am totally convinced. i really want the phoenix, but i'm worried about a few compatibility issues with my computer/phone so I just emailed him a few questions. i've heard nothing but good things so i'm about ready to order.. just have to finalize size and details... do you have the polypro or the hdpe?...

I know that it is a really long wait to get it. I ordered mine at the begining of november, and it won't be here until early january. So if you're willing to wait that long. Than you should totally go for it because they are amazing!

I don't have one, but i'm sold on it. It's the best hoop I've ever seen, soooo impressive. I've also heard nothing but good reviews. I say go for it ;)

dillian is a great guy =) can't wait to watch ya spin with it Ashleigh!!

Just wondering how long until new orders of Phoenix hoops will be accepted and what the wait time will be on a build?

KimRay: Welllll I was probably one of the last to get my orders in before he stopped the ordering process.... I've been waiting 5 weeks so far... it's been agonizing... he said he's running low on supplies so I'm assuming as soon as he fills the existing orders he will open the site up for new orders. You can always email him and ask him about it, he was relatively quick to respond to me, even though it was over the holidays and totally awesome about it. :) good luck!

how much did you pay for the Pheonix, Ashleigh?

I too got an order in at the last minute, he says that he should have materials again by early March I think. I'm not sure if orders will be open though. I think he was saying a lot of orders came in all of the sudden so he's trying to manage that. But yeah - Like they said, he's very friendly so just message him!

I orderd my hoop in November, and I still don't have it :-( It's been three months! But I was aware of the long wait before I orderd it. So if you do end up ordering it, get ready for a VERY long wait.

That is such a long wait but the hoop looks amazing, led hooping has def gained popularity and his hoop is amazing and very fairly priced
