I've been pondering the same question. Thing is I've only heard wonderful things about the Pheonix and mixed reviews about the Atomic. I got to check out an Atomic face to face last hoopjam I attended and it sure is a beautiful hoop. I havent been able to see the Phoenix but I'll probably end up buying one opposed to the Atomic anyway. If you check out the Features of each hoop on their websites the Phoenix just looks/reads better in my opinion.

I am as looking into get  either an atomic or a phoenix hoop, but I don't know which one is better. One thing I like better about the atomic is that it comes with a one year warranty.

All of hoop-daddy's hoops have a one year warranty too.I actually just emailed him to check and he got back to me super fast.

I think I might go with the atomic because I really like it patterns better. Like Sammy said it looks great when the hoop is spinning. The only thing I like better about the phoenix is that it comes with a remote to change patterns while your hooping. Sammy have you ever had any problems with your atomic??

I'd like to recommend hoop daddy because I know the guy personally and he's really freaking awesome and nice and smart and wonderful and his hoops are freaking AMAZING and soooo hard to put down. If you don't go with the phoenix his other hoops are great as well. If you get one with the accelerometer the hoop changes colors every time you change directions and it looks really cool because if you can dance to the rhythm of the music, it looks like the hoop is changing colors to the music.

I'd definitely have to say the phoenix. I myself had this issue, but then I went on to read up on the atomic hoop and apparently people have been having a lot of problems with them. I've heard nothing bad about the phoenix hoop whatsoever, so I went with that instead. Still waiting for mine to arrive. If you do end up going with the atmoic however, I hope that you have better luck with it than most people. Happy Hooping!

Yes it is. That's very true.. but the people I've talked to that already own them have nothing but positive things to say about them. They are super light too, which is something I NEED in a hoop.

Someone with a phoenix should make an instructional video showing how it works and how to chance mode. I seen a few for the atomic and I would like to see how the phoenix works.
