I think it's good overall. The only thing that is really bugging me is the orange banner. It'd be fine if it were there upon first entering the site and once you closed it would be gone. But it's driving me nuts that it pops up again every time I navigate anywhere within the site and I have to x it out over and over again.

yeah not liking that banner and I agree with having the banner pop up when entering the site, but overall sweet work.

Yes, the banner does tend to pop up quite frequently.  It's like, "Ugh!  Do I have to click the X again?"

I like the banner actually. I've missed out on some contests on different sites that I didn't realize were going on.

I like the set off to the left side, and the banner is fine. I understand that one x-ed and it should go away for a while, but that's hard to set up. Discussion forums can get confusing really fast, so this is a good upgrade

I like it. It startled me the other day, and I was immediately drawn to check out WHAT was going on. Exciting- I love contests! Maybe the banner could be a bit thinner, but it isn't too big of a deal.. it's not like it will be a permanent part of the website, just there for a week until the contest is over. The only thing for me is that when I click "enter contest" to read more details, that page that comes up in the middle is soooo slow to load. But that could just be my computer?
