Soo I have compound scoliosis and I have been hooping a lottt lately, especially learning some new jumps then the other day I coughed while slightly bent over the sink and I was in tears on the ground from the pain. I left my university and went home to see my chiropractor. He says that hooping is probably good for my back as long as hoop equally in both directions.
Problem is, I can't seem to hoop throwing it to right! I do not want to give up hooping because of my crooked back!
Anyone have any advice? Or similar experiences?
Permalink Reply by Megan Quay on February 16, 2012 at 6:48pm Hey Samantha! :) I would suggest turning the same direction you are trying to hoop...so turn with the hoop. Also, I would switch back to the larger blue hoop I made you to practice this since you can hoop slower with that one without it falling down. Just keep trying!! You can do it! :) Love Love Love! Oh & I had a bad hooping dream last night! First time evvver! I kept trying to hoop throwing it to the right & failing & my boyfriend, Ben told me I should just stop hooping because my back was only gonna get worse. :( I texted him in the morning though & he said dream Ben is not very smart. :P
