Hello all!
I love big hoops and when I was at a small festival a woman had an extra big extra heavy hoop. it wasn't a foam work out one with waved edges it was a regular hoop but much larger in thickness and diameter.
I loved it!
It felt so slow and sensual spinning around me.
I've looked online for a big hoop like this but haven't found one. Anyone know of anyone that makes them even on etsy maybe?
thnx - Happy Hooping

Permalink Reply by Mia Satuu on July 4, 2012 at 4:11pm I have a 39", 3/4" tubing, 160psi, collapsible hoop that I would sell.
It's about a month old. I'm extremely happy with it and there's nothing wrong with it at all. It's a little heavy for my liking (I'm a tiny person) and I was going to purchase a lighter hoop. I'd hate for it to sit around so let me know if you are interested at all, I'd be happy to help :)

Permalink Reply by Joan Warburton on July 4, 2012 at 5:16pm You can purchase 1" 160psi irrigation tubing. You'll need roughly 11 feet for a 42" hoop, a bit more if you want to go larger. Most of my beginner hoops are 42" which is a good size. They're 3/4", 100 psi but if you want heavier go for the 1", 160. Get one 1" connector to put it all together, some gaffer tape to spiral around it and you're all set.
