You sound like me! My first hooping experience was also at SOSMP, at Bear Creek three years ago. :] I live in Jacksonville, which isn't in NW FL buuuut I do travel a lot, and I imagine we go to a lot of the same festies/events. My roommates and boyfriend are in a band (Lucky Costello) and we've been touring all over Florida lately, so if I'm ever in Panama City I'll let you know! And if you're ever near Jax, please hit me up!!

Thanks for your reply... Unfortunately I don't get to travel as much as I would like to; Wanee was my very first event of this nature. I am only a beginner, but man is this fun! I saw it last month, and picked up my roomies hoop she made some time ago... Now, I take it with me everywhere I go, just itching for the chance to get it moving! LOL

So far, I have several friends interested as well.. I am going to spend this week making some for them, and start some neighborhood jamming just to get a community started. When you guys get out this way, look me up! I have a 3bd house on the water, and could likely provide accomodations for you when you arrive. The backyard makes a positively PERFECT spot to practice!  So, yeah come on over! Would love to meet a more experienced hooper to maybe help me get better acquainted with the tricks and things. I am looking forward to it very much! Thanks again, and Happy Hooping!

I live in Jax... there is a hoop scene here. I've also seen Lucky Costello somewhere. Can't remember where. Anyways that event looks fun too.

I am always looking for hooper friends, but I am in Clearwater Fl. If I ever come to your area I will contact you and you should do the same! Also you should go to Bear Creek! PLENTY of hooping opportunities there! :) And I would love to hoop together if you do!

Ahhh soo many beautiful hoopers at Wanee!   I loved hooping in the rain last year there, what a blast! I am going to school in St. Petersburg which is definitely a hike from you.  But you should come back to SOSMP for Bear Creek and we can hoop together :)

What do you like to do for fun in Jax? There's a HUGE hoop community here, most of us hoop out at shows. I know a lot of people go to Crunchay Sunday every week and hoop, and I'm always seeing people hooping at Art Walk or UNF. You should hit me up, we'll get our spin on!
