You will have to collapse the hoop for it to be cost effective. The cheapest shipping is with USPS. They do not require you to use a box. UPS, and fedex do, using a box adds weight and measurements to the shipping cost. Shipping with USPS starts at $25 for a collapsed hoop and $36 for a non-collapsed hoop for 7-14 business days at least. That is if your shipping a hoop that is 34'' and smaller. If it's larger or if your using heavy tubing the shipping cost will be a little bit more. Global express starts at $64 btw. Always use bubble wrap when shipping your hoops. When I tried to ship a 38'' hoop with UPS to Canada they required a box and the cost was $80...
