I am looking for some simple breaks and reversals to add to my practice when I am working on hoop flow. So for the best I can manage is while waist hooping wacking the side of the hoop and getting it to change direction. It doesn’t look nice but it’s effective. I notice that many experienced hoopers incorporate many breaks to their routine. I feel like it really allows for more freedom in the flow and brings the performer in closer contact with their hoop.

Breaks have been one of the hardest things for me to accomplish and I have not yet stumbled on any tutorials that really click for me. I really like Babz and she does a lot of cool breaks but I haven’t been able to successfully incorporate them into my routines. I get the feeling that many of her tutorials are a bit on the fancy side so are there some even easier breaks that I should be aware of?

I finally got a second to sit down and watch this. Thank you for posting. I think this will help a lot. I can't wait to try out some of the chest breaks.
