Hey hoopers! I am having a hard time with this one...hoping for some help!
I have been trying to get my hands on one of the new so called 'smart hoops' ex: Atomic, Phoenix, Helix, Mobius...etc. But I can't seem to figure out if anyone will make a hoop with 5/8 OD polypro. It seems like the smallest they use is 3/4 and I prefer my hoop to be skinnier. Does anyone know who if anyone makes a hoop like that? I have already e-mailed about the Atomic Pro and they told me 3/4 is the smallest they go. Seems like there must be someone out there doing it..?
Thank you for any help!

Remember a 5/8" thin wall PP hoop is gonna be about 1/2" inside diameter. that is Exactly the size of a AA battery. This doesn't allow for casings or even wires to connect both ends. To get a battery pack in a 5/8" hoop, they'd have to drop down to AAA or N size and lose about 1300 mAh in the process, or about 3/4 the amount of time the hoop can be lit before changing or recharging the batteries. In short, if you got one, it would only stay on for about 10 minutes.

Permalink Reply by Joan Warburton on August 5, 2012 at 1:54am I have a 5/8 LED from Moodhoops. LOVE it. They don't make them in the size I have anymore, 36", because it's a little "wonky" but that's exactly what I love about it. Takes the same battery as my 3/4 LED from Trick Concepts. Their standard size is 33" now for the 5/8 unless you special order.
My 36", 5/8, Blaze has taken an incredible beating, folds down and is my favorite LED by far. I love the thin tubing. It's over 2 years old and goes everywhere with me.

Although like you said, my friend's tiger lily was super wonky cuz it was too large. But I use very small hoops now (2 years of hooping and you down size quite a bit) so I know the tubing should work! Thanks for your advice :)
