does anyone know which (dog leg?) snap button works with the PP tubing Rich says to use? I assume we use the snap button that would fit in tube b (the connector)?

i posted this question in another thread but i think it'd great more attention as a new topic. i'm not interested in a prodmod kit bc i have a friend that's an electrical engineer so we are going to be trying our own ideas out with the batteries/LED setup but for the tubing/collapsible construction i'm taking the lead.

thanks for any help =) it's greatly appreciated. i'm ordering my tubing from mcmaster and there's a warehouse in ATL i can pick up my tubing from so i figured i'd go ahead and get some snap buttons there too.

I bought the straight leg snap buttons. i bought the 0.59''-1.25'' good size for my small thumbs

cool thanks for the advice! i remember now that when i first started hooping, i thought a "weighted" adult hoop was what i needed, like they sell at fitness stores. apparently that was just an exercise hoop... but it was sectional, and had snap buttons too. they DID hurt to push in an out of that damn thing!

i noticed on the spinzsters website he was selling the dog leg buttons... wonder if it really matters?

I got mine from the Spinsterz. They work great.
For what we're doing, I don't think it matters whether you use straight- or dog-leg buttons.  I use the straight ones just because I figured they'd be easier to insert in the tubing.
