i just was wondering the same thing! seems like a cheaper solution to a fire hoop, and i totally would try that before I would try a fire hoop!

my friend and I just tried it. we used duck tape on a naked hoop. Really the only problem we had was that there was only two of us trying to light 6 of them fast enough on her try. We made a video, it was fun, nobody got burnt, but it was short lived lol! I not so freaked out to fire hoop now, I think doing this helped me feel like i would be ok to try firehooping for the first time soon.

My friend Charly did the sparkle hoop last July, and I'm asking her cuz I want to this weekend. I will let you know, but I think she just used her fire hoop somehow

I think the girl in the video said she taped the sparklers on if it's the one I remember. I can't watch it at work.

I did this just by taping sparklers on my hoop. The cheap sparklers I used were bendy, so I could wrap the metal handle of each one around my hoop and tape it down nicely.

Shekinah on here has done that before. She's got a video where she just put like two sparklers on a hoop and it looked really cool. Especially when she was doing the vortex. Here's the video—the sparklers are at 1:45.

Ahhhh.. that's me! lol. Ya, I just bent the wire of the sparklers around the hoop a bit and taped them on. You can see a clip of me putting the sparklers on in this video the first time I tried sparkler hooping- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3e8dq3bF-80  You can do many more than 2.. they just don't light well at all in the cold, so doing it now in the summer will produce much better results :)

 

The first sparkler video I saw was Kelsey.. she has some awesome sparklers that seem to throw sparkles all around her. Definitely not the dollar store ones I have - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYcBUKEG9-I
