Starting legitimate hoop classes for the Fall!
I taught hoop classes over the summer at a summer camp in my area. While it was more of a distracting activity for kids (more like daycare), I would like to propose to my gym an ACTUAL hoop class. With varying age levels in different classes, a usual weekly schedule, and maybe I could even sell my custom hoops to aspiring hoop dancers that sign up for classes. Since I did this for the gyms summer camp, and I teach gymnastics there already they know I am a good teacher, but I need some way to attract students. No students....no class to exist. I was thinking about making a promotional hoop dance video of myself, some day hooping, LED hooping, and fire hooping to really spark the interests of possible students. Just want some comments and opinions from people on if they think this would work well. I would much rather teach hooping than gymnastics! much less dangerous!!! and i LOVE hooping so much. So make a promo hoop vid, the gym already has a class proposal written up as well. I need a way of marketing this to potential students

I wouldn't control the price of the classes, the gym would have control over that, I would have full dance studios to use as my teaching space, as well as an entire gymnastics gym with very high ceilings to work on high tosses and things of that nature

i will begin teaching official hooping classes in the Fall as well! I was lucky enough to have the lady from the dance studio very interested in helping me to get on my feet...I had coincidentally been hired to do a promo video a couple months ago, so I used that and made a flyer which the studio owner has hung up and advertised for me. So far I think I have 3 students signed up. I want to print out more flyers and hang them up around my local college campus, downtown, and parks, etc. XD good luck mama <3
