Has anyone ever used/bought a pair of stilts? I'm looking into getting a pair but I know nothing about them! Any advice or info will be greatly appreciated!  Thanksss and happy hooping!

Make your own if you have access to the tools! Much more fun and cheap. If you're interested in doing that, google it. I know there's a site that has plans for stilts, they're not hard. Especially if you use an old pair of boots and just bolt them to the platform.
thanks, im looking into that now!

 What sort of stilts?

There's two basic types- peg and platform. Platform are faster to learn, and you can stand totally still on them, they're sometimes used for doing stuff like painting ceilings even- they're not great on non-level ground though, and they are heavy, and more expensive.

Peg stilts are more commonly seen ones for performing, but you always have to be moving, even if it's just picking up your feet and putting them back down on the spot, which can make some things difficult. I've even seen people climbing trees with pegs- though I can't even stand up on them myself, though I'm sort of ok on platforms- the other advantage they have is they're waaay lighter, so once you're used to them, you can use them a lot longer without getting leg strain.

Hope this helps- though if you're making your own, you'll be making pegs. :)
