I've been hooping for almost 4 months...okay, kind of obsessively...like everyday. I just transitioned to polypro which I love. I've got quite a few horizontal and vertical tricks I've learned but I'm at a loss for creative ways to change planes. I'm really loving off-body in a whole new way since switching to Polypro and want to work on it more ESPECIALLY going between the two. Any suggestions or videos? Thanks SO much in advance!
Happy Hooping :)

The "weave jump through" is a good vertical to horizontal plane change.
The "open the door" isolation changes planes within the move.
The "larrisa" also changes planes with in the move.
The "whip" is great for horizontal to vertical.
Tricks all have multiple names; I hope you know them by these names...
I get the first two but I am having trouble with the other two terms. Larrisa is a complete mystery to me but I am guessing the whip is like a linear isolation where the isolation appears to shoot out and back?
I appreciate people using names for tricks as it gives me language to speak with. Sometime I don't even know the correct name for a move I have learned from someone.

The Larrisa is an orbit that z-axis spins. It's sometimes called the chopper or helicopter, I think. Might as well be the whisk or the blender; hoop names are stupid. Larrisa is the Aussie circus name for it.
The Whip is another circus-y move. It starts with the hoop off-body to the side (you can start from orbit) your hoop arm swings across the body then over and behind your head and back to the start position. The hoop makes a z-axis spin as it passes over your head. It goes fast, like cracking a whip.
