Hi hoopers!

Can someone tell me if 1inch, 160 PSI makes a super heavy hoop?

I currently use both 3/4'' 160 and 1/2'' 125.  I just want a good weighted hoop for exercise and weight lose.  Thanks!

I've also heard that people put sand in hoops to make them heavier, but someone, correct me if I'm wrong, since I've never done it. I do know they sell sand at craft stores if you're nowhere near a beach.

I couldn't tell you how much sand to use. I'm a fragile little thing, myself, and find that even the 100 PSI irrigation tubing is heavy! I like my very light, unweighted 1/2 inch PEX.

Oh, and if you like the noise, another suggestion is rice or riso pasta. I love the sound that makes. Not sure how much weight it'll add, but there's always the added coolness factor.
