CLOSED - Synchronized Hoop Jam and FREE Prizes!
Last night was Hoop City's first ever Synchronized Hoop Jam! Some of us hooped in our living rooms, some of us hooped in the park with a full on hoop jam and some of us even hooped at work! The event was a huge success with over 80 members online for the chat session afterwards it was hard to keep track of the conversations as responses and messages flew at lighting speed across the screen. The energy was high and the enthusiasm was even higher! After the 1st half hour of the hoop jam I unleashed a brand new SURPRISE feature of Hoop City.
LIVE Lessons and Tutorials!
That's right, last night using a live streaming application I was able to teach two brand new moves to Hoop City members across the globe. The first trick we learned was an alteration to the Escalator dubbed the Escalator Axis Switch and then at the very end of the event after the prizes were drawn I provided another tutorial for all those who participated. We learned a twins move where we maintain the hoop above the head on the hand and the arm. Several hoopers were able to get the move RIGHT THEN! It was incredible and so much fun to be a part of. The winners were selected at random and allowed to choose their prize until all of the prizes were awarded. We started with three prizes but during the live chat I decided to add TWO more prizes; a second Hoop City Prize Pack and a Free Hoop City Class. The live chat was an incredible experience and will open a new chapter for Hoop City. Members were able to connect in real time from all over the world. Several Hoop City Citizens in Europe even stayed up till 3 AM to participate! Another Live Chat is planned for the future, this time it will be at a time that will allow European hoopers to be online during the event. Stay tuned for more details on specific times and dates. Hello Hoopers! Big news!
Mark your calendars hoopers because Hoop City is going to have a LIVE Hoop Jam! That's right, inspired by the Earth Dance Synchronized Meditation Sessions, Hoop City will have it's first ever Synchronized Hoop Jam! Send out your energy and love as you hoop simultaneously with other Hoop City Citizens. The event will take place at 7:00 p.m. MST on Wednesday December 16th. Use the handy countdown timer on the main page to keep track of when the event begins or check out the Fixed Time Calendar to find the time in your area.
Where does this event happen? EVERYWHERE! In your living room, your backyard, jumping on the bed! Anywhere and everywhere!
How long will we hoop? We'll hoop together for 20 minutes and then the Chat Room will be open for chatting about your jam.
Three prizes will be given away after the synchronized hoop jam! The winners will be picked at random (by a non-biased bystander, A.K.A. my boyfriend) to receive one of the three prizes! In order to qualify for the prize you'll have to be online on Hoop City and in the chat room after the hoop jam. Winners will be chosen and announced an hour after the Hoop Jam. This will give some time for those who have gone to the park for their jam to be home in time for the chat. Prizes include:

I know exactly what you mean and if I didn't know the woman who produced it I would say it's a bad idea.
She's amazing at what she does and is as hard working and anal about providing information as I am. ; )
The DVD even includes how to make your own torches, so she knows you are using the proper tools for the job.

Well done or not, i recken fire eating is some thing that should be taught in person from an experienced performer a dvd can not tell you if your doing something wrong before you badly hurt yourself.
Any who, this hoop jam thing'o sounds pretty cool though I don't think i will be hooping at that time i'll probably be sound asleep in bed
