I'm sure if you buy the hoop it comes with more detailed instructions. Basically, you just move the joystick left and right for the different settings and up and down for the different colour banks.  I just got poi with preset settings and it's a little confusing, but once you sit down and play with it a little bit, the settings start to make sense.  This hoop is really new though, so there are very few people who have one that can explain it to you.  If you really want to know exactly how to use it, I suggest you contact LED Artistry.

There are 16 banks, 10 settings in each bank making 160 settings in total. You use the directional switch to change which bank and setting you are on, an LED in the bank and setting side will pulsate showing you where you are at. Up/down changes bank. Left/right changes setting. Center button to enter that setting. Sounds and looks a little confusing but it is actually very simple. Heather will post an instruction video soon.
