I am just starting out in the hooping phenomenon and because of my friend Sarah I have three hoops, but I would like more, but I am finding that the electrical tape is slippery and is hard to do tricks with. Anyone know where I can find other tape that I do not have to go online for that is more grippy? Or would it be cheaper to just go to Etsy.com and buy already made hoops there? Please let me know I am lost :(

You should be able to find gaffer's tape at home depot or lowes or other home improvement stores. The office depot website says they have some too. Call around and see what you can find! I'm not sure if it would be cheaper, but it's a lot easier, especially in the beginning, to just get a hoop from etsy. Good luck :-)

goodbuybuys.com is great for buying gaffer and mirror tape, but you have to purchase at least $15 before they let you check out, which is not bad since you get soo much tape. Their shipping is fast too.

If you don't want to order online use hockey tape. You can get it at sporting goods stores and a lot of people really like it.

Yes, I second this about hockey tape. It's all I have ever used and love it. Also, because it is so cheap, you can constantly change the colours of your hoop without feeling like you're wasting money when you want a new look every couple months ;)

I actually went out and bought them today! Hockey tape is awesome! but it seems a little flimsy.. still I was surprised I was even able to find some lol, I like in PA out in the middle of no where out of all places lol :) Thank you so much for the tip :)

you can also check out any sports store and get grippy athletic tape for sprorts injuries. They come in lots of different colors and patterns so thats always nice.
