I don't know if anyone has ever posted about a great way to remove scuff marks, but I figured out a perfect way to remove during my practice inside today.

There pretty much hasn't been one thing I haven't tried to remove those darn marks from gaff/hockey tape.  I have tried magic erasers (removes paint!!), dish soap (doesn't do jack), water and a scrubbie (again- fail).

So I have found something that is pretty paint friendly and easy!!  Take a dish scrubbie or rough washcloth, moisten it, and pore some baking soda over the part that is wet.  Next, drip a little water over the area that you just put the baking soda on.  This should make a somewhat thick paste on the scrubbie.  Make sure you don't get it too wet that it is drippy, because then you will have water streaming from your scrubbie when you are wiping.  Then, gently start wiping away the scuff mark by scrubbing in small circles.  It literally took me a minute to get a HUGE scuff mark removed.

I have light colored walls, so if you have darker walls, I would test in an inconspicuous spot first.  Hope that helps everyone that has rainbow scuff marks all over their walls :).  Peace.

Awesome thanks - my hubby was starting to complain he was going to have to paint :)
Awesome... thanks.  My bedroom walls look like the aftermath of a preschool riot.
"Preschool riot" LOLOL! That cracked me up.
HAHAHAHA Love it! I get yelled at so bad by my parents when I hoop on our new floor or "touch" the walls. Bleh, the paint is an ugly color anyway, it's  a good excuse to repaint!
this is really helpful. I've definitely added a few stains on the walls and thought I was just going to have to repaint when I moved - hopefully this will prevent that! haha
I tried it out this morning and it worked so well that I shared it on my blog: http://kymspins.blogspot.com/ - i hope that is okay! I linked to your website (very cool btw). Wooooo! Clean(er) walls!

Thanks...I'll try the baking soda.

Grip tape marks remove quite easily from paneling by using a gum eraser.

Spin Gypsy always has the best ideas... We love you girl! :)
