The Rothbury Incident!
Billy recently said in an interview that they will be putting on a festival at the Rothbury site with multiple Cheese sets, as well as Cheese family bands. It wont be as big as the original Rothbury, but it will hopefully be at mystical and magical as Rothbury. Billy said that the scide projects had so much fun at Rothbury 2008, and thought it was such a special place, and that was why they chose it for their return from hiatus in 2009. I am hoping they will make Sherwood Forest all crazy. It will be the intimacy of Horning's Hideout, but with a little more room for people to spread out. And there's nothing like summer on the East side of Lake Michigan, hot during the day, cool at night, not too humid. I just moved to Hawaii from the Midwest, and I will already be back there next summer because this sounds too good to be true!

SWEET! Some activity at Rothbury!! I live about 25 minutes south of there. I hope they expand into DJ type venue(dub/break step). I need something with a beat. :) I will take what I can get at Rothbury though.

its probably not going to be quite the same as the original rothbury, but you know that cheese will bring a good party!
they always have the best bands playing before and after their sets, and you know there will be some amazing hoopers as well!

Hey Alli and All,
Yes, gear up for some sweet Rothbury love this summer. This event is not yet announced or confirmed (even with SCI) by Madison House so the details are more nebulous than even Billy might think just yet, but rest assured for some crazy Rothbury Sherwood-forest magik! I'll be there. :)

The first Rothbury is where I first remember finding hooping, It is a special place for sure! I am real excited for this, a wonderful festival in my home state!

Oh yeas! This is amazing news. My boyfriend went to cheese in hampton and it changed his life its all he talks about. I can't wait to see them and rothburry will be he perfect opportunity :)
