Any chance she was closer to Venice/Santa Monica instead of Hollywood proper?  Was she blonde?  If so, I think I can identify that awesome hooper!

I can't really hang out in a lot of high heat/direct sunlight due to sun sensitivity so I guess that lowers my chances but driving around to show people the sites even during the day I haven't seen anyone in W Hollywood or S Monica / Newport Pier areas... or Laguna or wherever.  Guess I was just unlucky!  (The only local pictures I've seen down here is of people doing it inside - in stilettos...) Not sure I'd ever be able to do that but who knows if I can find a group to practice/hang out with  lol.

My second cousin lives in Long Beach and there is a huge hooping community there it seems. At her wedding, everyone was hooping :P

I live north of LA, but I am in LA frequently and I have seen a few hoopers in Santa Monica. I remember, I went there with a friend once and there were just hoops sitting on the pier! And and and...it was all men hooping! Which was awesome because I rarely see that. :P
