Trick/Move that you had the most trouble with and the best piece of advice someone gave you

Just wondering what moves everyone out there had the most trouble learning and if there was one thing that someone said or a new way of looking at it that "unlocked" it for you.  Its amazing how one phrase can make you go "ooooohhhh! I get it!" or if you helped someone "get" a move just by explaining it a different way.

ANGLED HOOPING:

Try two things:
First, try bouncing up. If it doesn´t work, try bouncing down. It´s actually the same thing in the end, but visualizing it differently works for different people.
I also managed do angle hoop downwards with my eyes blindfolded.
Caroleena was much help on this one! Don't use your toes, push in your heels

Well rolling across the chest is what I want to get. . .I'm more interested in learning the one that goes up your chest vertically opposed to the horizontal one.

Same!  I need help on this one too.  Hello... anyone out there?
I think Caroleeena has a tute on that: across and up both methinks!

Hooping on one shoulder works only 50% of the time, I think I'm doing the right movement, but sometimes it goes perfectly while the other time it slips off.

Also the chest roll is very hard, but I think I'm just stressed and scared to let the hoop go :p Caroleeena's video helped a lot for this move

I've had trouble with shoulder hooping too! It's hard to get the technique of moving the upper part of your body forwards and back as well and nudging the hoop with your arms

For me, I'm struggling with the scissor switch/leg reversals.  Babz' tutorial has help in that I can do the end part of it, assisted by a push with my hands, change direction, then change back and put my leg in.  But my timing from beginning: take leg out, break hoop/switch direction, switch direction and leg back in...

I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm struggling to get them timing of when I first pull my leg out to break the hoop.

My thing is, I hoop to the left and take my right leg out, contrary to what I have seen so far.  But Babz did say it was possible the way I do it (when I posted on hoopcity awhile ago about this dilemma).  Also, I think I'm a bit afraid, because it kinda hurts if I don't break it in the right spot!

The thing is, my hooping journey has such a long line of tricks that I think I will never figure out, only to slowly slowly get them eventually!  Practice and feedback from other hoopers has helped me greatly!

I'm still having trouble with angle hooping - I can do it without spinning, but the best advice I got was to jump/hot as you spin :)
hooping from my knees to my waist was horrible. it took me four months to learn. then i told my best friend how to do it the day she learned to even keep the hoop up and she did it perfectly! made me nuts! finally i saw a video where she described circling your knees together. so if i thought about gluing my knees together and making one big circle it worked fine. i still don't do it as gracefully as some people do though!
It took me ages to learn that one!! I'm still trying to do it smoothly though. I just use my right leg (because I'm a right hooper) to nudge it up and I do it while spinning in a circle to keep it level.
