Hi all,

I have an infinity/figure-8 style collapsible hoop that I bought in September (160psi PE tubing, about 40 inches). It came in the mail all folded up nicely and I had no problem unfolding it, but ever since I CANNOT collapse it. The connectors are way too tight and when I twist to collapse it, I'm afraid the tape will peel or get twisted around. Is there any way to make the connectors a bit looser? Thanks!

Is there tape over the connectors??  If so, you could cut the tape and it would release it.

I would use a hairdryer to heat up the tubing where the connectors are and then open and close the hoop repeatedly as the tubing cools back down.  That should loosen it and always movement for collapsing but not loosen it too much so as the connectors pop open.
