Hi hoopers,
I'm writing an article and working on a video about having a successful hooping business.
The best answers will be featured on my hooping blog with a link back to you and your business.
If you would like to be featured, please respond with your best tip that helped you succeed (or a tip for newbie hoopers that want to start their own business) and a link to your website or facebook page and a photo if you would like one to be included.
I'm looking for something more specific than "follow your dreams."
Thanks,
Sarah

Thanks Spinning lotus. I'll be working on the article this week and will be sure to send you a link to it.

Hi Tedward,
Thanks for the response. What tip do you have for hoopers interested in starting their own business?

Hey!!!!
A good tip on our opinion: WE MAKE THE HOOPS AS IF THEY WERE FOR US, WITH SO MUCH LOVE AND PASSION.
We're from Mexico. Hope it doesn't matter...

Love to see that video soon :D

Beautiful photo! And that is indeed a good tip. I'll put the video up sometime this week when it is all done. :)
Permalink Reply by Craig (Proton Labs) on July 2, 2012 at 6:59pm While designing the Helix LED hoop I kept the project a strict secret from all but my best friends. This allowed me to focus on creating the hoop with every pattern, feature, and ounce of quality that I envisioned. There were no compromises in any way because of some artificial schedule, popularity, or promises. It allowed me to treat the project not as a business, but as an amazing digital art project that I can now proudly share with others. Because the hoop is so "over-the-top", everyone that has used one can feel this artistic energy that lives within the Helix and it inspires them as well. Don't make hoops; make art. Be inspired. Inspire others. It will show and you will have something everyone can be proud of.

Hi Jade,
Thanks for the response. Can you be a little more specific about trying new things? What new things have worked for you?

Craig,
Very good tip! I love the photos. I'll link back to the article once it is complete.
Thanks,
Sarah
