Hey hoopers, I just bought a 33in 5/8 OD LED hoop from MoodHoops.  I saw they are having a sale for valentines day and I fell in love with Sunrise.  It's really pretty but I have never gotten anything from MoodHoops before and wanted to know if anyone has experience or opinions about this company.

Thanks

I just want to say, that while I' not a huge fan of the hoop I purchased:( thier customer service is AMAZING!!! Incredible and amazing!! I'll just leave it @ that:)

I have a 36" Prism from Mood Hoops and I love it- but it's a little to big/heavy for me, I'm looking to upgrade to a 33" 5/8 HDPE.  Anyone know what size batteries the 33" takes?  I have 4 extra AA from the 36", not sure if I need to get extra rechargables for the 33.  Mood Hoops has fantastic customer service and they are quick to answer questions on Facebook, I recommend them!

I have a cosmic hooper 36" hoop as well, and it is really heavy; great for beginners but I am at the point where I prefer a lighter/smaller hoop.  And my cosmic hoop was 2x the cost of a Mood Hoop, but it was custom.

My moodhoop is a 33" and it takes AA

Thank you!  Love your hoop video & your custom is gorgeous!

I love my 33" 5/8 hdpe moodhoop! It's light and bright and very well-priced. Their customer service is also amazing! They were very helpful with my order. I'm used to hooping with a 34" polypro so it will take a little getting used to the size and the flexibility of the tubing but overall a great hoop! I made this video as soon as I got my hoop in the mail =)

I LOVE my moodhoop... it was pretty pricey to get it sent over to the UK but it was definitely worth it as it's so much better than any you can get here!

I got the 33" Spectrum, I went with the HDPE as I like the flexibility and it's more durable than polypro.

I love everything about it! The weight is perfect, it's incredibly well made and the LEDs are beautiful and bright. I normally find with LED hoops that you have to compromise on fun-a-bility to have a cool looking hoop, but this feels lovely to dance with. I couldn't be happier!

At the risk of raining on the parade, I'm disappointed with my mood hoops. The bulky piece of extra tubing that creates the on/off switch makes the hoop lop-sided for isolation. It hurts my hands when double hooping. I ordered the Muse and the purple lights start dimming after about an hour of hoop-play. Good thing I ordered extra batteries, right? Also less than a month after buying my pair, one of the push buttons broke. The hoop still works but I'm worried about it flying open when I spin. I need to test it out before I decide if I'm going to go through the trouble/expense of sending it back for repairs. **sigh**

For what it's worth, any time I've had to send a hoop in, they've paid for priority shipping both ways, and I've had my hoop back in my hands within a week of sending it out. They were amazing to work with, and it really didn't cause me any trouble, and it didn't cost anything. Both times I've sent hoops in, they were under warranty, though I know they will help you out even if it's not.
