Hey Hoopcity! I'm working on creating a series of multi-prop youtube tutorials and was wondering what moves or tricks (or even classes of moves) you guys wanted to see break-downs of.

I was planning on a few off-body moves. I'll definitely put vertical chest hooping in the queue.

5 beat weave. I just can't do it. :(

Or anything with somersaults.

Unfortunately, the 5 beat isn't something I feel confident in teaching right now. However Steve Bags has a great tutorial for the version without a throw: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wVz-rzFZcU

If you're talking about a somersault from foot hooping, Jon Coyne does one. Right now I'm having trouble finding the video, but it exists.

Awesome!
Different kinds of shoulder hooping maybe? Like duck out variations and shoulder passes?
And I'm not entirely sure what it's called... But it's a kind of break done from chest hooping that I've heard referred to as pull breaks? Like I think it's what paddling is for but I'm just skeptical about everything involving paddling and breaks from inside the hoop. Any thoughts/pointers/suggestions?

Horizontal duck out and in...?

Face hooping, please!

There are lots of tutorials on all sorts of moves but very few on how to transition from one move to another.
I know I can see a difference in watching other hoopers as they dance- some transitions are sublime and really make a difference- than when you see a hooper just grab the hoop and start another move. However it would be tricky for someone to show how they transition but I know the tutorials from HoopDeeDoo on twins and how to change directions really helped me!

Are you enrolled in any of SaFire's classes? In the "Planting Seeds" one (which is free with any class) she goes through what motions connect with what, making combinations, different transitions, potential for experimentation, etc.

Im a youtubevery freak when itthe comes toup learning moves cuz ive never had some1 to help me and not enough money to order some videos. I would LOVE to see more poi style hoop tutorials! Anything with double hoops and trix would really help me out! If that is not something u wana do, could u lead me to someone with poi style hooping tutorials?
Hi Brandy
Search for hoopdeedoo1 on YouTube for heaps of Poi hooping tutorials.
Steve Bags also does some good ones
