Haha, you ARE impatient. I second looking in the directory here. I found someone on Craigslist in my town who makes hoops and gives lessons cheap. Maybe try that.

If you are going to Lowes or Home Depot, you can probably get them to cut the pipe to length for you.

I buy my rolls of  3/4" PVC 100psi for $18.00 a roll at Lowes in the plumbing section. PVC cutters are only about $12, they are worth having if you are going to make multiple hoops.... get your girlfriends going too ;) !!!! Good luck, happy hooping :)

Thanks so much for your replies! I am THRILLED to say that yesterday morning I went to home depot and made my hoop for $9.00! And it was so easy!!!!!! I had to do the 1/2" since they didn't have the 3/4" already cut and i couldnt buy a roll at the time. (im a server and needed to work another shift first. fml lol) anyway the tubing was already cut to perfect size. I got an inserter that fit RIGHT in perfectly for $1.50 and got some cool tape! ahhh check it out ;) so easy!!!! im gonna be making them all the time lol.

oh and I def brought it into work last night! i had to show the other girl that i worked with and in about 10 minutes i had everybody hooping! haha so much fun.

gotta go hoop!
