as beautiful snow is and as surreal as the world looks covered in it..winter is a hard time for me, i was born at midnight on the summer solstice.. the sun and warmth is programmed into my being.. not to mention im quite small with not much to keep me warm.. the cold hurts me... i find myself saying ouch rather than brrrr. point being i dont leave my house as much as id like in the winter...and my hoops keep me busyy. Winter is a time of progression tho.. with all the time i spend indoors most of that time is working on some sort of art... so during this frigid time of year what do you do to stay active and progressive anddd "sane?" =]

My five focuses this winter are..
1.painting
2. 2nd hooping current
3. staff flow
4. yoga
5. opening a stargate/wormhole. [space/time travel/outer body expierences/ lucid dreaming]=]

before you know it we will all be at a festival with no shoes on toes in the grass sun on our face.

I'm taking this winter out! :D LOL

I'm trying to do as much outdoors activities as I can,and at the end of this month (new years eve) I'm going to a festival in the dessert-it's going to be extremely cold, but I'm gonna have fun! :D

i've recently been dabbling in sewing and garment-making...i'm thinking most of my free time will go into sketching, looking for inspiration, and working on some simple pieces.

hoop-wise, i'm going to stop working on new tricks for a while and just focus on improving flow.

i also hope to read some books...i think i'd like to read something like moby dick.. i've also always wanted to buy and read "the rose that grew from concrete" (tupac shakur poetry)

i'd like to do yoga too...i recently got a beginner's video.. so i'll be doing that too!

ahh my artsy side LOVES winter.

hooping, yoga and painting are all at the top of my list. Im tiny too and the cold and me do not get along well! Instead of worrying about the cold I am going to start getting a schedule to do my yoga and eat healthy and make sure to put some time away for myself for my painting and sewing and hooping. In some ways, I am looking forward to the winter but I can never wait till festie season comes around and it will be here before we all know it :)
