What type of day hoop should I buy if I'm starting doubles?

Should I do Polypro, or no? What type of tubing would you recommend? I was thinking getting two 33 inch hoops.

How tall are you and what size hoop are you comfortable with the most when you're learning off the body tricks?

i think 33's may be too big.

i mean, it really depends on what exactly you'd like to learn with off the body hoops.

I'm like 5 foot 4, and I'm comfortable with 33s.. I could go smaller, though.

Are you wanting to do doubles on body as well as off? Mine are 32", and I find that's a perfect size (for ME) to transition to more poi style hooping as well as hooping with both on my body and jump throughs and stuff. But they do feel a LITTLE big for off body, and if I were strictly wanting doubles for that, I'd probably do 30".

I'm also 5'7. If you're 5'4 you may want a bit smaller, easier to navigate around you. I would say though to get a bigger size, and you can always cut it smaller if you want, whereas if you get them too small and find they rotate too quickly, you can't grow them. What size of hoops are you using now? Oh wait, do you mean 33 are the ones you currently have? Maybe try a 30-31 if you feel you could size down a bit.

Thanks for posting this, I wanna get a twin for my polypro and it's a 35" so I wanted to know if I would need to work on downsizing them a little bit, and it looks like I should. lol

I think you should definitely down size from a 35. That's just too big for doubles, in my opinion.
