I have a question, hopefully someone can help me.

If you move to a different country (say Brasil) and you work over there, then you decide to move back to the United states, is your work experience invalid? Like, will people in the United States say "oh well this is a different country we can't count that work experience" or something of that nature. I'd really like to know

It depends on the job you want or what you are trying to get when you return. If you're in med school and go work as a doctor in a foreign country, the protocols and standards might be different, so it won't count towards your credits. But if in general, you work somewhere like a cafe in Brazil for 6 months and come back to the states and put that on your resume to hand out to local restaurants or a retail clothing store, no one is going to deny you had working experience or that you learned how to be a reliable employee. They might not be able to call your references, but not all employers care about that. They might question you in an interview if you plan on returning out of country any time soon (getting a feel for if you will be a long term asset or are just trying to raise some more money to go back on vacation). But most employers would probably look favourably on the experience :)
thank you!
