SO, I have fallen in love with hooping down the main street in my town and wonder whether other people partake as well. In college, I hooped from class to class, and to the dining hall. That felt different, though, than hooping down a busy main street. So I decided to coin a term, haha.
XTREME URBAN HOOPING: verb. The act of hoopdancing your heart out down a busy street in the city. Beyond just walking with your hoop or spinning it on your hand, XTREME URBAN HOOPDANCING calls for full out dancing all over your body while maneuvering around light poles, fire hydrants, and other people.
Today was the second time that I've done it; 1.1 miles, 30 minutes.
Does anyone else do this? What are your experiences with it?
