I know! I'm Steve's girlfriend. And funny enough I'm staying at your house renting from your dad for the summer.
Too bad I'm leaving at the end of august though! I'm upset I don't get to meet you...I'll be missing your visit by 2 months unfortunately.. but hey, its a small world on this site I guess :P Its awesome you were the first one to respond to anything I put on here lol

Hi Laura!

Wow! That's crazy.... hmmm... I can't remember if I took the orange butterfly off the light in that room, I think I did on my last visit. You can likely see some hoop, staff and poi marks on the ceiling in the room. Especially the annoying beam that runs across it. Man, I hated that the roof did that, seriously messed with my Flow hundreds of times! ; )

Oh, thanks for those vids!! I was seriously considering getting some within the next week or two...
I can't wait to try out some of those moves! Do you have any on poi perhaps?

Agghhh I can't believe I am just seeing this now. I am a beginner hooper as well (3 months) and in Fort Mac. I didn't think there were any other hoopers up here! I take it you have left already, Laura?

(You weren't by any chance the girl hooping on the steps at Interplay, were you? I saw the end, and then whoever it was started fire poi with a guy.)

lol this is sooooo late from when this is posted!
But im in fort Mc and would LOVE to hoop with you!!
Im in a tiny basement suite that does not allow for hooping... :(

Wooo! You have made my day! I'm so sad it's winter though and we can't just pick up and go to the park. Do you know anything about using a gym at the Y or whatever? Do you have to be a member? I should call them and find out, cuz I'd love to get together and hoop sometime. Someone posted about hooping on the mymcurray forums, and I tried messaging her but never heard anything back. There might be a 3rd Fort Mac hooper somewhere out there though lol.

There's lots of opportunities to get out and jam with us in plenty of public and quiet locations.
