Is anyone traveling to Dallas for Baxter's Earthquaker tour on May 4-5? I'm leaving May 4 and wonder if anyone would like to come with!  There will be one in Austin in October as well. FYI.

Hello Austin Hoop Commuity!!!!

 

I'm trying to condense some of the various open cirque, flow arts, and hoop events in the austin area and eventually texas and eventually the world.  (Ambitious Much)  Please check out this site and let me know what type of events you'd prefer to see on the calendar.  More open jams? Local classes?  Workshops? C.U. @ Circus meets at Barton Springs every Sunday. You can network through there. Sometimes it gets a little "slacker" scene but for the most part it is fantastic. You can meet tons of people who will point you in the right direction, whichever that one is for you!

Planning on moving to Austin from Chicago in February-March of next year! Would love to make some friends and get some info on the hooping community from Austin before I move out there ;D

Hey Austin Hoopers.

I'm in Canada but I have friends in Austin looking for a beginner hooping class.  Are there any teachers/studios out there doing classes?  I'd like to refer them to someone :)  THanks!
