Hey D Well funny you should ask...

here in sydney I am looking for a location to do a World Hoop Day Dance Flash Mob....

called the Opera House but they will still be doing renovations

so am going to called the sydney harbour foreshore to arrange another place..hopefully they will be on board

I need to be mindful though because 11.11 is also remembrance day & I wanted to have it at 11am but i think once we honour the 1minute of silence we could go ahead

then i am planning to hoop from 11.11am - 11.11pm for 11hours to fundraise for my trip to Thailand as I will be going to SParks Circus 2012. Then after that I head to Cambodia to work with a project that work with street kids.

I need to get at least 60 hoops for Cambodia...

 

At Hoop Happenings hoping to get peeps to donate hoops...and in our hoop craft making session make hoops to donate....

I think it wil be easy to find charities to donate the hoops to, I already have 10 to donate to a special needs adults performance group.

Will update you as I get more details...

Yes yes yes! Sydney hoop flash mob?!?! Sounds amazing. Or at the very least, a massive jam on Hoop day? If you'll be hooping for 11 hours, i dare say you may require some company...

Please keep me posted somehow on any hoop plans. I'd love to be involved.

Would love to come to hoop happenings but it is planted right in the middle of my uni exams, so I don't think I can make it. Devastating...

I replied over at Hula Hoop Addicts, I just thought Id say hello here too so you know who I am. 

Circle Of Light Hula Hoops is the WHD end of my hoop making, Voodoo Hula Hoops my business & spiritual side incase it gets confusing (-:

Im most likely going to be on the Gold Coast for WHD - if theres anyone else around this area give me a yell! Maybe we could organise something locally? Id love to know what else is being planned around the country too!

Northern Hoopdance Circle (Melbourne, Australia) is celebrating World Hoop Day with a twilight Hoopjam!

We will be performing the world hoop day dance and there will be music, hooping, chai, nibbles, hoopmaking and a ton of fun!!!

Its free and hoopers of all levels are welcome!
