@ Helfirey: I'm soooooooooo agreeing with you on this. I'm kind of tired of all those videos with only tricks. I find 'em so soul-less. I like the videos with dancing and flow and people having a stage presence and the more I know hooping the more important I think it is.

What I like about the Dominique Immora one is that she delivers a great performance which doesn't just rely on tricking. Not that there's anything wrong with tricks but it's nice to remember that there's nothing wrong with some good old-fashioned waist hooping and a booty bump or two if they're done with style.

Dominique Immora.  Her routine isn't even that complicated (or atleast, to me when I look at it now) but when I was first starting out, it blew me away.  She was a really strong, commanding stage presence, and she fuses her hooping, dance, and peeling really well.   There's not much "tease" to her striptease, but I think that's appropriate for the mood of the piece.

Love this gal.  This act is one of those strictly hooptease acts (hooping and striptease, no storyline or other concepts going on), and it's done really well. It's got great choreography (esp in regards to little flourishes that match the beats in the music) and the overall mood is fun, playful tease.

My main focus is hoop burlesque.  My style is heavily theatrical and showgirly.  I like for my acts to have storylines or giant props or both.  :)
