Hi Maria! I'm in Lancaster, which is about a half an hour outside of York. I'm not sure how long the drive would be, but I'm looking for people to hoop with! Send her my way!

I'll pass it on and let you know, Andrea! It looks like you two are an hour from each other. Do you know of any classes/instructors in the surrounding area? How did you learn and how long have you been hooping? Maybe you could help her out!

I started hooping just over two years ago while I was living in Boston. I just moved to this area and am kind of struggling to find people to hoop with that live close to me, let alone classes or instructors. If I come across any, I'll let you know.

If I ever get down there to visit my friend (she usually comes up here to Maine) I will be sure to give you a holler! Yes, please do keep me/her in mind if you find any classes/instructors/jam sessions, but meanwhile I will pass your name and location on to her and see if she wants to take it further. She is a bit new and skeptical, but I know she'd be a convert ;)

My parents live in Mechanicsburg (just outside of harrisburg) and I know there is a jam group in Harrisburg by the waterfront on Tuesday nights (at least there was last time I was there). Also, if anyone is interested, I'd love to give some lessons when I'm around.

Too funny! I should have just asked you first! I will be sure to pass that forward to my friend, too. And YES, if you are down that way let me know and I will see if my friend can coordinate her schedule. She's a hooping skeptic but wants to try. She's mostly just watched my FB posts and been intrigued and asked a lot of questions, so I was trying to find something for her that was more local.
