I live in York, PA as well and haven't found any local hooping classes either.

Hi, I am visiting with family in Mechanicsburg for a month or so, and I teach hoopdance. If you guys are interested, I'd love to do some private or semi private/group lessons.

I don't know of any in York.  I'm from the Altoona area, and I know there are classes in State College.  Also, I know of local hoop jams, but they aren't really "classes" per-say.

Do you know of anyone north of Harrisburg who makes hoops?  I need a large/XL  hoop and am looking for a resource.

Hi Cleo, not sure if you have found a hoop yet as this post is from a while ago but I make hoops in the Harrisburg area- I have a few photos of some hoops I have made on my facebook page which should still be linked to here (haven't been on this site in a while.) Where are you from?
