Blisters!
I was wonderding how everyone deals with blisters on there hands from the Lyra? I'm almost a month in to lyra training and loving it but I get really bad blisters every class. For the past four weeks I have been going once a week now and for the next couple of weeks I am upping it to twice a week classes but I am not sure my hands will be able to handle it.
Does the skin get tougher over time?

Hello, I used to take trapeze classes, I don't know if it feels different than lyra but my hands would get wrecked too. The skin does get tougher over time (as well as pain tolerance, yay!). Some students had their blisters or calluses rip open, but putting gauze and wrapping up with tape helps alleviate the direct irritation. Good luck :)
