dude i love bluegrass too!! thats tricky though.. i guess you could reconstruct a plaid shirt or something to make it look cooler... like maybe cut it to make it a crop top and tank and add some cool embellishments or something?  i play fiddle so i know a lot of bluegrass people and they are just t-shirt, jeans and plaid kind of people, so i guess trying for kind of a countryish theme would be the way to go.. what about making some legwarmer/booties that are suede/leather or something earthy looking with fringe on it?  like this kind of fringe http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb241/fashionising/mischa_fringe... 

only better looking, i don't like those boots but you get the fringe i'm talking about
