I have always had precognitive dreams since I was a kid on some level, but usually doesn't go as far as just picking up some minute detail of a near future event. As an example, when I was about 10…

Comment by spiralroot on June 11, 2012 at 7:11am I've just recently started to keep a dream journal and i do believe it is helping me to remember my dreams more often tho it is still scattered. I only remember one or two dreams maybe 2-3 times a week. I believe it has alot to do with not sleeping through the night . I have a 2yo and he ends up in my bed around 1 or 2 every night, and he wakes me up as well. I need to start making him sleep in his own bed ...but he's just so snuggly , i love him <3
Comment by Carly Roseanne on April 18, 2012 at 8:40am Decided to start keeping a dream journal. I might scan the pages and post it somewhere because I want to be able to draw some things I see.
Comment by Carly Roseanne on April 17, 2012 at 11:37am Anyone ever have any run-ins with sleep paralysis? I used to get it every night years ago and it occasionally happens now, especially when I'm stressed out. Rarely do I lie there without some sort of audio or visual hallucination. More often then not it's someone whispering next to my left side or some sort of dark figures standing above me, looking down at me. Sometimes I feel like I'm floating. I've heard shreaking, argueing, and dogs/cats fighting. I've seen eyes or just one eye floating in front of me. It's sounds frightening, and it used to be when it first started, but now it's not.
The weirdest part about it is I can always feel it coming on in my dream. It's a physical feeling and I try to shake it off before it happens but it's never worked. The whole dream is affected by it, too. People in my dream will start running away or screaming. Sometimes there's an announcement, like someone introducing an act in a circus. "Ladie and Gentlemen!..." it'll start off, I can never remember the rest but everything turns dark then I'm awake and unable to move.
Has anyone else every expirienced this?
Comment by Tweed on April 17, 2012 at 8:23am Katie,
Try keeping a dream journal right next to your bed. Its best to write every detail down as soon as you wake up, while its still fresh in your mind. Even if it’s something as simple as "I can’t remember my dream last" so you keep the routine. That helped me tremendously.
You can still post here but I wouldn’t want you to forget any important aspects of your dream. I'd like to see a discussion where we can post our dreams. I love hearing about other people’s dreams!
Comment by Katie Emmitt on April 17, 2012 at 8:06am this is amazing! i have so many weird dreams, all the time and have a really easy time remembering them, i didn't use to so Im not sure why now but i cant complain! what if we started a forum for us to share our dreams in regularly? its hard fo rme to get into writing them down and usually i can just remember them for a while particularly if i'm talking about them with other people, but it would be a nice way to read about others dreams and their fascinating content!
