I have always had precognitive dreams since I was a kid on some level, but usually doesn't go as far as just picking up some minute detail of a near future event.  As an example, when I was about 10 years old, I dreamt I was this mermaid living in an aquarium.  The aquarium  had all of these different layers with rocks and seaweed.  The only way I can visually explain it is if you have ever played the original Mario when he is in the water worlds and you have to swim through the level.  So anyway, within the next day or two, I got invited to spend the night over a close friend of the family's house for the first time.  When I got there, I found out the extra room had a waterbed.  I immediately connected the two (for more than one reason:  I had never slept in a waterbed before and in the dream I lived in a water aquarium and two, the layers in the dream reminded me of the "layers" on the bed- sheet, blanket, comforter.  It may seem a little far fetched, but really, I connected them like no mistake.). 

Another time I had a dream and woke up thinking "Talulah Bankhead" for no apparent reason.  For those of you who don't know who Talulah Bankhead is, she was an old actress who was a guest star on the I Love Lucy Show.  I grew up watching Lucy and so that was where I knew her from, but she starred in all kinds of things.  It was quite weird I was thinking about her when I hadn't watched Lucy in such a while, nor seen her name or face anywhere.  So later that night I was out with my boyfriend and my best friend.  For dinner, we went to a Kelly's that was right down the street from our place when I lived in Virginia still.  After we got seated at a table I was just looking around on the walls because they had some really cool pictures and posters from events that happened in and around Norfolk.  So right above our table was, believe it not, a picture of Talulah Bankhead standing in front of an old theater in Norfolk called the Norva (it is now a concert venue but used to be a theater) with her name on the marque and everything.  I was speechless and had to tell the table what had happened. 

It hadn't happened for a while until Thursday night.  I dreamt I was at this store called Woolies, which is a locally owned store that sells really awesome, hippie type clothing.  I was looking around and I saw that they had gotten a whole bunch of pants in and I was really excited.  So in waking life, I had been there a few weeks ago looking for some much needed pants and they didn't have any.  So yesterday I went there because they were having a HUGE storewide sale and my boyfriend had gotten me a gift certificate there for Christmas.  I was looking around and *bam* they had a whole rank of pants and I totally scored these awesome patchwork pants for $10!!  I thought it was funny because just the night before I dreamt about them having some pants.
