It's hard to say yes now but I would like to participate but only for about two hours. Can we wear a costume?

Can definitely wear costumes! We can actually discuss that further as it's supposed to have a Harry Potter-esque feel to the street. Steam punk style was what i had in mind..something to that effect.

Hey everyone!

It looks like my first msg didn't go through so hopefully this one does :) I've been thinking of details for the day and I'm working on the sound system. Does anyone have a battery run system that could last for the day or part of the day? I'm going to check on my sources to get this set up but I thought I would check with the group first!

MUSIC DETAILS!As for music, I'm thinking Beats Antique inspired music for the day as it would lend a good atmosphere  I think. Does anyone have any other suggestions of music that would go well with this?

COSTUMES! So I'm thinking steampunk/goth/harry potter inspiration. Lets hoop in style for this event! Get creative, I really think anything goes :)

SCHEDULE FORTHE DAY! So, can everyone who is planning to join in between 10-4 msg me with the times you are wanting to join in so I can have a sense of flow for the day? Thank you!

I'm getting excited for this :D

I can be there between 1:30 and 4:00.

Any music is fine with me.  I don't have or have access to a battery operated music system.

I finished my costume on the weekend - steam punk witch.

Where do we meet and do you know where we can park because I am not familiar with the area?

I'll be at another workshop that day :O(( but it's acroyoga, so don't be too sad, cause I'm very excited for it. But I'd love to loan you my dreamcatcher hoop - yes, it's magnificent. I'll be going to the Glebe for 2:30, and could drop it off at Westboro before that. I'll bring it to hoopjam the night before. If you want to borrow a speaker, I have another one that isn't so big and bold sounding, but it works fine with an ipod. Batteries required, or plug in if possible. I can bring it to jam.

So the location looks like it will be a the park on the corner of Richmond and Golden i think it is. I will have a confirmation from the organizers by the end of this week though and I'll be sure to ask about parking details at that time too.

So tomorrow is the big day! Hooping will be set up between 12-3 for sure (possibly to 4 if we have the stamina). We will have a small tent in the park in case of weather concerns but it's looking to be sunny.

I'm wearing my costume to hoop jam tonight to give it a whirl before tomorrow, feel free to do the same! Also, any other last minute music suggestions, please bring tonight or bring an mp3 player to plug in tomorrow in case we need to change it up a bit. I will have music though.

If you want some face painting added to your costume, I'm happy to help out with that tomorrow, just show up a bit earlier (11:00-11:30).
