Hey hoop pals!

Last year we had an awesome time at the Aviation Museum hooping it up and doing the WHD dance of 2010. It was short notice, but it was a great turnout and really brought together some fine hoop community.

This year we're inspired to really do it up right! So we're hoping for Saturday, Nov 12 or Sunday Nov 13th, from 2-5 pm to have a great hoop gathering under the Big Spider Maman at the National Gallery, or if it's rainy, in the tunnel near the Chateau Laurier, beside the Canal.

We are re-imagining the choreo for the WHD Dance of 2011, and will be practicing it at the next 2 jam, and in classes too. We hope to invite everyone to join in at 4 pm for a big Ottawa WHD video shoot!

If you have a piece of hoop artistry to contribute, either a solo choreo'd piece, a duet, or a group dance, polish it up and let us know, we'll put you on the roster.

Trish and I will be there with hoops and tunes, engaging the passersby and informing about the charity WHD. A few others have committed to be there all day - yay!!! so it's going to be great fun! maybe even hoop giveaways....

Right now we need signs and publicity, so contribute your ideas in this discussion and we'll get the big WHD hoop a rollin!
